I feel extremely lucky to have spent my 20’s in ‘Grunge Era’ Seattle. That was one of the best years of my life and I got to travel extensively throughout Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Greece, Turkey and the British Isles. I graduated with a bachelor’s in Comparative History of Ideas and spent a year teaching English in Prague, CZ. I know a thing or two about selling heifers at the yearly auction…Īfter high school, I spent a year as a live-in nanny in lovely Santa Cruz, CA, and then moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. We raised Black Angus Cattle, Golden Retrievers, and American Quarter Horses.
